Here, We talk everything about motorcycles, from covering tips on riding a motorcycle efficiently to taking care of it. I myself is a motorcycle enthusiast and I welcome all Motorheads to read and share your opinions here.

A couple of years ago, Royal Enfield introduced its 650cc motorcycle range. The company introduced the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Recently, the Indian motorcycle brand has also taken the wraps off the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. While the company now has a standard, cafe racer, and a cruiser in its 650 cc lineup, it is readying a couple of more motorcycles on this platform. A new leaked image from a company’s presentation confirms the same. The following picture reveals that seven new motorcycles are in the pipeline, and they will be derived from the 650 cc platform.

As of now, the brand has launched the Super Meteor 650 in India, which is officially introduced at the Auto Expo 2023, 13th January. The Royal Enfield Meteor 650 boasts the quintessential retro cruiser design and is the third 650 cc motorcycle joining the RE family. It has first-ever features on any RE like LED headlights, USD forks and cast-aluminium switches. The price of Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 starts at Rs. 3.48 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 3.78 Lakh. Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is offered in 3 variants - Astral, Interstellar and the top variant Super Meteor 650 Celestial which comes at a price tag of Rs. 3.78 Lakh. https://www.royalenfield.com/in/en/motorcycles/super-meteor-650/

Going by the image, a more sportier version of the Continental GT with fairing is on the cards. The motorcycle that's been spotted features a small front fairing with mounting points for a full set of fairing as well.

Next is an adventure touring motorcycle. In all likelihood, it will be called the Super Himalayan. The rumours of a 650 cc Himalayan have been doing rounds since forever, the rendered image confirms that it is under consideration.

Royal Enfield Bullet & Classic 650.

Furthermore, the silhouette of a Bullet can also be seen in the picture, along with a single-seat motorcycle, much like the Classic 350.

These motorcycle would be based on the same borrowed engine of the 650 twins, but would sport the much cherised retro old school look with updated technology.

Moving on, there are a couple of more motorcycles in the image - a bobber, a scrambler, and a standard motorcycle like the Hunter.

Bobber 650 will sport an aggressive stance with raw power, the RE Bobber would be a modern take on the iconic bobber style. Now one can feel and enjoy riding a Made In India RE Bobber that would also compete with Harleys in the global market.

Royal Enfield Scrambler 650.

The test mule sits on the same frame as the Interceptor 650. It has a different seat though. The bike gets an upside down fork, that’s likely to be different from the ones seen on the Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650, and the twin shocks are not gas charged as the ones found on the Interceptor 650. That said, they’ll still be preload adjustable.

The test mule was spotted at OMR, Chennai. It was using the same 650 cc engine as the Interceptor and the Continental GT. However, many changes can be spotted. From the looks, it seems like the test mule was the Scrambler or 650 cc version of the Hunter. Also instead of two exhaust it would have a single exhaust.

The 650 cc power plant of Royal Enfield is a twin-cylinder one, and it uses a 270-degree crank angle. Furthermore, the engine is capable of putting out a rated power output of 47 bhp against 51 Nm of max torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motor currently does duties on three motorcycles in the company’s lineup. However, it could be altered slightly to suit the character of various motorcycles that Royal Enfield is considering launching in the near future. All these bikes would be launched between the timeline within these five years 2023-2028.
